Why This Course
We created this course because, time and time again, we hear the same important questions. We know that no one-size-fits-all answer exists, and that’s why we wanted to create something dynamic and different.
For a subscription fee that's less than the cost of a 30 minute call with an attorney or HR professional, you’ll have access to a learning experience that lets you dive into dozens of topics at your own pace and whenever you need. Lessons explore hypotheticals and other nuanced scenarios, so you can get a feel for how they may apply to you. Ask your instructor questions and give input on what you’d like to see next—we add at least two new lessons per month on average.Â
Through this course, you’ll gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward with a deeper understanding of California employment law principles. Because when your workplace is thriving, you can tackle what matters most to you.
This is access to legal education like you’ve never experienced before.
Olivia Casellini is a licensed California-based attorney, as well as a certified human resources professional (SHRM-CP). She is a co-founder and partner at A Better Professional Corporation (or "Better" for short) and is also an employer, just like you!
Olivia's experience spans across many industries. With over 800 clients, she's worked with professionals in hospitality and events, healthcare, tech, creative fields, and more.
She (along with her business partner, Sam) were voted best business lawyers of 2022 (2023 runners up!) and best employment lawyers of 2023 through the San Diego Reader's Reader Poll, and she was recognized as a 2023 and 2024 Rising Star nominee by San Diego Magazine.Â
